The Bootlegger 100 Bicycle Race

The Bootlegger 100, a bicycle race that takes place 90% on gravel roads over a 106-mile course, begins at 8 a.m. in downtown Lenoir and travels up to the Blue Ridge Parkway and through the Wilson Creek Gorge. There also is a 60-mile course that does not travel up to the parkway. Awards are presented at the course finish in downtown Lenoir at 5 p.m.
