Please join us for a special "Night at the Museum" on Tuesday, 17 April 2018 at 7:00 pm, when the Caldwell Historical Society features
Jo Suttles. Jo will entertains us with her program, "Adventures on the Back Roads of Caldwell County" will regale us with Appalachian Jack Tales and sings old folk songs.

Jo is a storyteller who also loves to sing folk songs. She grew up in a family of storytellers, sitting around the supper table, out on the front porch or on a blanket under a tree where there was always a good story to be heard by her dad, uncles or other family members. Developing a love of reading, Ms. Suttles almost always has a book, magazine or her Kindle close by.

Moving to Caldwell County in 1971, she taught school in Caldwell County Schools and enjoyed many years volunteering for the former Hudson Golden Age Club. She loves to be outside, gardening or hiking. Over the years she has worked with youth and children, in school, church and summer camps.
