Caldwell County and Lenoir is pleased to welcome their second data center with the opening of cloud-computing business Dacentec. Located at 801 Main Street, the company is renovating a former 23,000-square-foot former Sportswear Express manufacturing location. The company plans to employ up to 20 people in the next three years.

Dicentec is a server hosting and Internet protocol network services provider with headquarters in Pittsburgh. The company is aligned with India-based Zenith Infotech and Belgium-based Aserver. Contributing factors for locating in Lenoir include local government assistance, existing power infrastructure and real estate cost.
