Scenic Drives

The Ultimate Road Trip – Our Special Part of the Blue Ridge Parkway

There are few among us who haven’t driven at least part of the 469-mile Blue Ridge Parkway, and you may even travel on the US Route 321 portion rather frequently from Lenoir, North Carolina to other towns along it, such as Gastonia, Lincolnton, Hickory, Boone, and Blowing Rock. While you might be tempted to switch to another route while the NC DOT is in the process of widening this important highway, we want to suggest that you choose to enjoy the slower pace, great views, and how much more it has to offer than the busy scramble of an interstate highway.
