One option for hiking is the City of Lenoir Greenway. You can access it from multiple locations and then hike as much of the 7 miles as you have the energy and time for. Another option is the Yadkin River trail which is roughly 2 miles long and accommodates hiking and biking. Yet another choice is the T.H. Broyhill Walking Park with its short .43-mile paved loop. These are just three of many options for hiking you’ll find in the area. If you desire a hiking trail in a forest, near water, going through a community, or one with drinking fountains and restrooms, you will have no trouble locating one that fits your needs and objectives.
